Introduction
Wrexham Bean's Calon coffee is the perfect blend of Brazilian and Burundian beans. The natural Brazilian beans lend a subtle earthy sweetness, while the fully-washed Burundian beans add a touch of vibrant acidity. Calon coffee bags are also branded with unique artwork commemorating the 1934 Gresford Colliery Disaster.
Strength and flavour
I recently tried Wrexham Bean's Calon blend coffee and was very impressed. The combination of Brazilian and Burundian coffee beans packs a real punch, and you can really taste the hints of chocolate, marshmallow, and toasted nuts. This isn't a dark roast, so I wouldn't recommend it if that's what you're looking for. Overall, I highly recommend Calon if you're looking for coffee that's aromatic, smooth and packed with flavour.

In summary, Wrexham Bean Co's Calon blend has a consistently refreshing taste and works well as an espresso or americano. It's great as a latte too because it produces a thick crema and you can really taste the different flavours through the milk. Would highly recommend!
